In a press conference on Wednesday, Sask. RCMP revealed that two arrests were made in connection with the quadruple homicide that occurred on the Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation, Sask. on Feb. 4.
The two accused, 18-year-old Darius Racette and a youth, who cannot be named per the Youth Criminal Justice Act, were taken into custody on Tuesday.
Racette has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder in relation to the deaths of 34-year-old Tracy Hotomani from Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation, 44-year-old Sheldon Quewezance from Zagime Anishinabek, 47-year-old Shauna Fay from Indian Head, Sask. and 51-year-old Terry Jack from Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation.
Racette made his first court appearance on Wednesday.
