Wind and rain warnings are now in effect for a wide swath of the South Coast and Environment Canada is worried about possible 100 kilometer per hour winds in some areas and 100 millimeters or more of rain at higher elevations. Most of the concern is for Vancouver Island and on the Southern Gulf Islands. But the warnings also include Metro Vancouver and the North Shore. Mark Madryga has the latest forecast.
