There’s no doubt a 12-year-old Vernon boy has one of the longest commutes to school in the province. Legally deaf, the Gr. 7 student must fly to the Lower Mainland every week to get the education he deserves, because he can’t get the help he needs in his school district. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
