Venezuela’s former opposition presidential candidate Edmundo González has fled into exile in Spain. The surprise departure was announced by Venezuela’s Vice President on Saturday. The exit of the 75-year-old came a week after Venezuelan authorities issued an arrest warrant for him, accusing him of conspiracy and other crimes.
