WestJet, mechanics union ordered into arbitration

Labour Minister Seamus O’Regan has imposed final binding arbitration on WestJet and the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA), averting a strike of the airline’s mechanics, but not before dozens of flights were cancelled in anticipation of job action.
