No injuries were reported following a fire at a home on Walker Avenue in the east end of Peterborough just after noon Wednesday.
Peterborough Fire Services responded to a report of fire coming from a barbecue tank which had spread to an exterior shed and part of a house.
Firefighters used an extended hose to reach the fire and quickly extinguished it.
There is smoke and water damage in the house through its soffits, fire services report.
Damage is pegged at $50,000.
