The Canadian Forces Joint Signal Regiment held its ‘Freedom of the City’ parade in downtown Kingston on Saturday. It’s the 110th anniversary of the regiment’s lineage having first formed in 1914 for world war one. The parade is a rare tradition but actually has roots dating back centuries.
