The Canadian Paediatric Society released new guidelines this week urging primary-care providers to begin screening all adolescent patients for eating disorders at routine checkups and other medical appointments. As Sean Previl reports, the guidance is being welcomed by many as something that will “shine a light” on a health issue that still doesn’t get enough awareness, despite it impacting so many.
