Canadian Space Division military officials announced in Ottawa on Thursday the establishment of a new Canadian Commercial Integration Centre at the Canadian Space Operations Centre (CANsPOC) in cooperation with Canadian businesses MDA Space and Telestat. Commander of 7 Wing Space Catherine Marchetti said that the security in the space domain has changed and “is more dynamic than ever,” and that the initiative is aimed to help foster discussions and data sharing.
