Speaking during question period on Thursday, Green Party Leader Elizabeth May demanded the Liberals “fix” the Environmental Assessment Act by consulting the environmental expert panel for guidance. Environment minister Steven Guilbeault responded by saying that changes have been already made based on Supreme Court recommendations, adding that regulations such as zero emission vehicle standards and emission caps did not exist when Bill C-69 was adopted.
