Over in the U.S., there is swirling speculation about whether former president Donald Trump will still face trial on multiple federal criminal charges before voters head to the polls in November. Trump’s legal maneuvers have successfully thrown the court calendar into question. Lastly, Canada is hoping for a strong showing in track and field at this year’s Olympic games, and an Ontario teenager could be a big reason why. Christopher Morales Williams made international headlines this week after running the fastest indoor-400-metre race ever. Unfortunately, he didn’t officially set a new world record due to a technicality.
