Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Thursday thanked Canada for its “tremendous supportive role,” saying that the two countries had “stood together” in the face of challenges throughout the Middle East. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and a delegation are in Amman for a bilateral meeting with Jordanian officials.
