Burlington Mayor Miro Weinberger said in an update on Monday that suspect Jason J. Eaton, 48, has been arraigned and charged with the triple attempted murder of three students of Palestinian descent after a weekend shooting in Burlington, Vt. Weinberger added that the charges carry the potential of multiple life sentences, and that authorities will ensure Eaton is “held fully accountable.”
