They knew he was going to die, but the way the 51-year-old man passed has his family in profound pain. The cancer patient had recently moved back to the Okanagan from the Lower Mainland to be near his 4-year-old son during his final stage of life, but when those final days came, his family says he was denied palliative care and had to endure an undignified death.
