Family blames undignified death on health authority
Description
November 9, 2023
They knew he was going to die, but the way the 51-year-old man passed has his family in profound pain. The cancer patient had recently moved back to the Okanagan from the Lower Mainland to be near his 4-year-old son during his final stage of life, but when those final days came, his family says he was denied palliative care and had to endure an undignified death. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
