Charlotte was born with SMA, a degenerative condition with no cure. SMA has left Charlotte immobile and unable to speak. She can communicate using a unique ‘eye gaze’ system. Variety has helped Charlotte since she was an infant, and now, as she prepares for post secondary education, they are helping her with speech and language sessions to help with her eye gaze system.
