A massive blaze that tore through a partially empty industrial warehouse in North Point Douglas may have been intentionally set.

The Saskatoon Fire Department said crews had to deal with exploding fireworks, heavy smoke and zero visibility while battling a blaze at a local shop on Tuesday.

Saskatoon firefighters said smoke was coming from the building and roof of the Sutherland restaurant when they arrived.
