• Passengers evacuated from N.S.-P.E.I. ferry waiting to get vehicles back

  Northumberland Ferries is hoping to reunite the evacuees with their vehicles Sunday evening or Monday. The company will ship them to those who have since out of the area.

  Nobody was injured and passengers are safely ashore after a fire broke out on the P.E.I.-Nova Scotia ferry Friday, close to the Wood Islands Ferry Terminal.
