The sighting on Monday comes several weeks after a 21-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in a suspected shark attack in waters near Margaree Island.

RCMP said police got a call Friday afternoon just before 5 p.m. from a person on a boat off the western coast of Cape Breton, saying someone had been bitten by a shark.
