Phase two of the Morriston bypass, which is slated to be ready by 2025, involves building a new interchange to connect the 401 and Highway 6.

The road work is part of a much larger effort to make improvements in the area of Highway 6 and Highway 401 while making it easier to get between Hamilton and Guelph.
