Wellington OPP say a car accident has claimed the life of one Guelph driver. OPP say the 40-year-old was pronounced dead in hospital after a red minivan hit a tree last Thursday.

A 35-year-old Guelph, Ont., man has been charged after police say he was caught driving with a headlamp in place of headlights on a dark stretch of road.
