Ottawa police were called to the area of Metcalfe and Albert streets Monday at 8:39 p.m. where they found two stabbing victims, one who later succumbed to his injuries.

In an update on Friday evening, the Ottawa Police Service confirmed 39-year-old Austin Simon died after being stabbed on the 200 block of Murray Street on Thursday night.
