Alberta MLA Dave Schneider is apologizing for saying Indigenous people don't tend to vote and, when they do engage in politics, they only want to talk to the prime minister.

Members of Alberta's Wildrose Opposition have apologized for comparing the NDP government's carbon tax to a famine caused by Soviet government policies in Ukraine during the 1930s that killed millions of people.

The candidate for the Wildrose Party won the riding of Little Bow by just 10 votes, according to official election results released on Friday.
