• Ontario reports COVID numbers for Victoria Day Monday, Tuesday

  Due to the holiday weekend, Ontario COVID-19 numbers were not available on Victoria Day Monday so two sets of data were released on Tuesday for both days.

• Ontario reports 711 new COVID-19 cases, highest single-day count in nearly 2 months

  Of the 711 new cases recorded, 322 were unvaccinated people, 28 were partially vaccinated, 314 were fully vaccinated and for 47 people the vaccination status was unknown.

  Ontario said 33,220 tests were processed in the last 24 hours, the most number of tests since early June. Test positivity hit 2.5 per cent. Last week, it was at 3.3 per cent.
