The travelling event showcasing startups and business heavyweights says it will return to the city for its 2024 conference.

This will be the second year the travelling conference has had to give up plans to stage the massive event in Toronto because of the health crisis.

Mayor Frank Scarpitti says it will be one of the largest innovation districts in North America and be close to the Canadian offices of a number of major technology companies such as IBM and American chip-makers Advance Micro Devices and Qualcomm.
