London is going down in history as the first municipality in Canada to use ranked ballots — but it might also be for taking the longest to announce results.

As opposed to the usual first-past-the-post system, London voters now have the ability to rank three mayoral and council candidates by preference, if they so choose.

Even if you don't have a voter notification card or a piece of ID, you can fill out some forms and go through a process to get added to the voter's list.
