Northern Canada airline Buffalo Airways announced a cargo-only 'Special Freighter' route between Edmonton International Airport (EIA) and Yellowknife.

Transportation Safety Board spokesman Chris Krepski says the Buffalo Airways plane was en route this morning from Yellowknife to Norman Wells, N.W.T., when it experienced engine failure.
