The upgrade and paving of 1.6 km of the Omemee Trail section, from Sibley Avenue to Emily Street is now complete and accessible for all public non-motorized use.

The federal funding of $390,000 for the city will support the estimated $1.7M project focusing on the 6.5 kilometre Rotary Greenway Trail link north-south corridor.
