A domesticated reindeer in northern Finland has become a local tourist attraction.
Six-year-old Aatu (aah-too) was only a small calf when his mother abandoned him.
He was found in the woods in Finnish Lapland.

His owner said, since he was an orphan, he never learned how to be a regular reindeer.
He was bottle-fed, brought up partly in a house and learned to identify with humans rather than animals.
He even likes watching TV, and has a favorite show.
Aatu lives part-time on a reindeer farm and in his owner’s yard but seems to want to be indoors with other people.
Early on, local reindeer herders said that a tame reindeer would not be good at work, but Aatu is an active tourist guide and pulls sleighs full of visitors.
