Two people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision on Hwy. 7 just west of Lindsay, Ont., on Friday morning.
City of Kawartha Lakes OPP report the collision involved a motorcycle and a car. Police say two people on the motorcycle were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the car was charged with careless driving causing bodily harm.
The collision prompted the closure of a section of the highway between County Road 18 (or Elm Tree Road) and Monarch Road.
In an update issued around 10:45 a.m., the MTO said the highway was reopened.
