Battersea, Ont. man wins $50k on instant scratch ticket

Eighteen-year-old Brett O’Neil has won $50,000 from an Instant Crossword scratch card.

According to a release from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, O’Neil plans to use some of the money to fix his boat and will save the rest.

The ticket was purchased Ormsbee’s Mercantile on Battersea Road in Inverary.
