Power restored at Peace Arch crossing following abrupt outage

The U.S.-Canada port of entry is now open, following an abrupt outage that suspended operations earlier this afternoon.

The outage at the Peach Arch crossing began just before 3:30 PM.

According to DriveBC, it appeared to be on the American side.

 

According to the United States Customs and Border Protection website, three lanes are open and travelers can expect wait times of about 20 minutes to cross the border.
