A senior who left his Maple Ridge, B.C., home last Friday morning but never returned has now been found deceased, according to RCMP.
The 76-year-old went to a local gas station to buy a newspaper, leaving his home on 207A Street near Dewdney Trunk Road around 10 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP said.

He had underlying health conditions, no cell phone and not very much money, police said at the time.
Sadly, police found him Monday near the Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge border. His death is not considered suspicious, but the BC Coroners Service is worked to determine the cause.
