Lac La Biche RCMP asked residents of Kikino Metis Settlement to shelter in place for several hours Tuesday afternoon.

A shelter in place that was issued at around 2:30 p.m. was lifted.

However, RCMP said they were still searching for a man who was considered “armed and dangerous.”

Patrick Glynn, 39, is described as six feet two inches tall and 194 pounds, with a medium complexion, brown hair and hazel eyes.

“Stay in your homes, lock your doors and do not open your door for anyone,” RCMP said in an earlier news release.
