Detective Const. Daniel Yamniuk says the suspect broke into the art gallery’s storage locker and took off with aboriginal masks, wooden panels and sculptures.

Yamniuk says the art pieces are one-of-a-kind, and that they reflect the heritage and diversity of the artists who made them.

Anyone with information about the theft are asked to contact the police.
