Calgary police are asking for the public’s help in nabbing a man who has held up at least two convenience stores.
At 3.30 a.m. on Thursday September 26th, a man pulled a knife on a clerk at a Mac’s Convenience Store at 1264- 68 St. S.E.
Before the employee could hand over any cash, the thief grabbed the entire cash register and fled.
In the second robbery on Sunday, October 6th, a man walked into the 7-Eleven store at 4527 8 Ave. S.E. at around 5 a.m., and asked the lone employee for a carton of cigarettes. He then pulled out a knife, demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as Caucasian, between 30 and 40 years old, approximately 5’8” tall, with a muscular build. He has blue eyes and short, light brown hair, as well as a goatee. In the second robbery he was wearing a camouflage hat with a white logo, a grey “TapouT” brand zip-up sweatshirt with a skull design and blue or grey pants. He also had a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
