TORONTO – Severe weather has been reported across parts of Illinois, Indiana and Ohio, bringing high winds, funnel clouds, and tornadoes.
The National Weather Service has issued several tornado watches and warnings in the three states.
Tornadoes have been reported in Roanoke, IL, as well as Pekin and Peoria.
The Chicago Bears football game against the Baltimore Ravens at Soldier Field was temporarily suspended and spectators were told to go to a sheltered area as the storm headed for Chicago.
Several homes have been damaged and a cell tower was knocked down.

The unsettled weather will continue to move northeastward into Ontario, however there is only a slight chance that the storms will continue in their severity. Instead, high winds, rain and some thunderstorms will occur.
