Firefighters were called to a house in north Edmonton when flames were reported coming from the building. A person and their puppy were able to escape safely – Apr 27, 2023

One person inside a house in the Evansdale neighbourhood was able to escape safely with their puppy when fire broke out early Friday.

Edmonton firefighters were called to 152B Avenue and 83 Street at around midnight for flames coming out of a home.

Crews were able to extinguish the blaze quite quickly but the home suffered extensive damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
