MOOSE JAW – Canadian Pacific is investigating what it calls a “minor yard derailment” in Moose Jaw Sunday morning.
According to a CP spokesperson, four cars came of the tracks in the Moose Jaw rail yard when crews were switching cars at low speeds.

CP says all four cars – one boxcar and three tankers – were empty at the time and that there was no risk to the surrounding community.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
The cause of the derailment is not yet know but CP says they will be conducting a full investigation.
