One person was sent to hospital following a two-vehicle crash early Monday on the Red Hill Valley Parkway in Hamilton, Ont.
Police say the collision happened around 7 a.m. and shut down northbound traffic on the thoroughfare.
A woman in her 60s was taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries.

A spokesperson for Hamilton police confirmed the man driving the other car remained on scene and has no injuries.
The cause of the crash and potential charges are still under investigation.
Northbound lanes of the Red Hill were closed north of Barton Street for some five hours during the morning commute.
They reopened just before Noon.
