Crash closes Highway 16 eastbound near Maymont, Sask

MAYMONT, Sask. – Foggy conditions may be partly to blame for a crash that closed a section of Highway 16 east of Maymont, Sask., according to RCMP officers at the scene.

The crash occurred when an RV towing an SUV crashed into the back of a semi tractor trailer just after 7 p.m. Tuesday local time.

Mounties at the scene of the crash say the semi had been travelling slow due to fog in the area.
