Human remains located on missing man’s property

BLAINE LAKE, Sask. – A murder charge has been laid after a missing person investigation uncovered human remains in Krydor, Sask.

Arnoldo Rey Sr. has not been seen or heard from since November, 2012.

Information obtained during a missing person investigation lead RCMP to believe his disappearance was suspicious.

On Monday, RCMP Major Crime Unit North discovered human remains on Rey Sr.’s property.

An upcoming autopsy will be performed to confirm the identity of the remains.

In the meantime, Arnoldo Rey Jr. has been charged with second-degree murder and offering indignity to a dead human body.

He is being held in custody until his next court appearance on Nov. 12 in Saskatoon.

Krydor is approximately 90 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
