Saskatoon first responders battle 7th Avenue house fire

Saskatoon fire and emergency crews responded to reports of a fire at around 11:20 a.m. in the 1500 block of 7th Avenue North on Thursday. One of the firefighters on scene said that the flames may have started in the garage – Nov 17, 2022

Saskatoon police and fire crews responded to a blaze on the 1500 block of 7th Avenue North on Thursday.

Fire crews started fighting the fire around 11:20 a.m.

Fire trucks and police could be seen on all the streets in the area as heavy smoke could be seen coming from the home.

Roads were closed in the area, and people were being redirected.

It took about five hours before the blaze was considered under control.
