A Fort McMurray, Alta., man is in custody following an incident in which residents of one neighbourhood were asked to shelter in place Tuesday evening.
In a news release, Wood Buffalo RCMP said they got a 911 call around 5:15 p.m. and rushed to a firearms complaint on Grenfell Crescent.
The order to stay inside was lifted just after 8:30 p.m. when the man was arrested, but investigators remained on scene.
No further details were released at the time.
