Investigators are questioning two teenage girls after an alleged bomb threat prompted the evacuation of a southeast Calgary junior high school.
School and students cleared out of Ernest Morrow junior high, 1212 47th St. S.E., at about 9:45 a.m.
Police said the evacuation was prompted by information from a former teacher at the school, who called the office after seeing Facebook postings about explosives in the building.
The school, in turn, called police. Officers searched the building, but found nothing suspicious.
Police also found two students, 15 and 16-year-old girls, who allegedly made the online postings and took them into custody.
Charges are pending.
