A Gatineau contender for the title of Miss Universe Canada was disqualified on Saturday from the competition after pageant directors discovered she appeared semi-nude in ads selling extra-marital affairs.
Sophie Froment, 20, of Gatineau, met with pageant directors Saturday afternoon to discuss her involvement with AshleyMadison.com, an infidelity website that touts itself as “The World’s Premier Discreet Dating Service.”
