SALMON ARM — It’s pretty much a foregone conclusion but a judge has given the go-ahead for a murder case in the Shuswap to proceed to trial.
The case involves the shooting death of Tyler Myers, 22, in a Salmon Arm school yard in November 2008.

A man and woman are charged with first degree murder.
Because they were youths at the time of the killing, their identities can’t be publicly revealed.
Following a three day preliminary hearing, where the Crown laid out its evidence, the judge ruled it is sufficient to commit the accused killers to trial.
A date has not yet been set.
Police say the murder of Myers was planned and he knew his accused killers.
