Toronto police are appealing for help identifying a car involved in a fatal hit-and-run on Monday.
Police said they received reports someone had been hit by a car at around 4:21 a.m. on Monday morning at the Yonge and College streets intersection in downtown Toronto.
A man was driving a Honda Civic south along Yonge Street when he came upon a male pedestrian who “for reasons still to be determined, was lying in the southbound lane of Yonge Street just south of College,” police said.

An investigation – led by the traffic services division – is ongoing. Police have released an image of the suspect vehicle: a dark coloured four-door Honda Civic.
