Residents of Dawson Creek have cast their votes in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.
Global News is projecting that councillor Darcy Dober has been elected as the city’s new mayor after garnering more than 80 per cent of Saturday’s vote.
Dale Bumstead, the city’s current mayor, announced earlier in the year that he would not seek re-election.
Elected to council were incumbents Amy Kaempf, Earl Jerimy and Charlie Parslow plus newcomers Michael Sudnik, Kyle Macdonald and Gregg Apolonio.
