Police are seeking to identify four men wanted in connection with two carjacking investigations in Toronto.
Toronto police said on Sunday, officers received a report of a robbery in the York Mills Road and Bayview Avenue area.
Police said a 54-year-old woman was parking her vehicle when a dark coloured sedan pulled in behind and stopped.
Officers said three men got out of the sedan while a fourth stayed in the driver’s seat.
According to police, one of the men approached the woman while allegedly holding a handgun and demanded the keys.
Officers said the woman turned over her keys and got out of the vehicle.
Police said the three men got into the vehicle and fled the area.
The fourth man followed in the sedan.
Police said the stolen vehicle is white 2017 Cadillac Escalade with a licence plate reading CCTZ949.
According to police, on Monday just after midnight, officers received a report of another motor vehicle theft in the Wilson Avenue and Keele Street area.
Officers said a 53-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were stopped in their vehicle in a parking lot and were getting out of the vehicle when two unknown men approached them.
Police said one of the men allegedly pointed a handgun at the victims and demanded the keys.
Officers said the man got into the “still running vehicle” and drove it away from the area.
According to police, the other man got into a dark coloured sedan that was nearby and fled the area.
The stolen vehicle is a white two-door 2019 Porsche Carrera 4S with a licence plate reading “RAEANNE”
Police are now searching for four men.
Officers said three of the suspects are approximately 20 years old.
“There is no description of the fourth man at this time,” police said in a news release.
